Kabukicho is a popular entertainment district best known for adult-oriented nightlife. Small clubs, smoky pubs, and late-opening snack bars are crammed into lantern-lit alleys in Golden Gai. Robot Restaurant hosts kitsch sci-fi dinner shows, while rock bands perform at Marz and Ashibe Hall. so our first time at a red light area and thankfully it was at Kabukicho. even though almost all of japan is super safe and there are vitrually no "no go" areas, we did tread carefully and i was selective in taking photos. the super flashy high rise buildings were all executive nightclubs, strictky reserved for the locals only and we did bump into a few escort girls, but they didnt seem to bother anyways. some of the places also had a "rate list" for the services provided. after about 30 mins of walking around, we decided it was enough for the night and quietly dragged ourselfs to the metro and the hotel room in Chiyado.
